Strength Coaching

As we age, declining strength affects far more than just physical ability—it impacts daily life, independence, and long-term health. Here’s why building strength is critical and how weakness holds you back:

How Weakness Affects Adults

  • Loss of Independence: Struggling with basic tasks like carrying groceries, climbing stairs, or standing up from a chair reduces self-reliance.

  • Increased Injury Risk: Weak muscles strain joints, leading to falls, fractures, and chronic pain (e.g., back/knee issues).

  • Metabolic Slowdown: Muscle loss lowers metabolism, making weight gain easier and increasing risks for diabetes and heart disease.

  • Poor Posture & Pain: Weak core and glutes force compensations, causing back/neck pain and reduced mobility.

Why You Can’t Afford to Wait

Strength declines 3–5% per decade after 30, accelerating after 60—starting early is key. Resistance training reverses aging effects, boosts energy, and improves mental health.
